Today’s Important Task

Most of our decisions are based on our belief systems and all of it started from childhood. Things like where we came from, how did the stars above us formed and how old is the earth. And questions like, “Do plants breathe?”, “What am I going to today?” Some of them might be still coming from “Old Wives Tales”, superstition and other form of spirituality. It could be what our teachers taught us and based on observations find it to be correct then we hold on that fact and to the next. Small stuff that matters and some don’t make part of who we are on how we make our decisions.

Some decisions are made instantaneously without you thinking over it and some are needed to be dealt with in a certain time frame. Others might need help from their friends, love ones, superiors or to anybody for small bits of information before making the final decision.

I have read a book about making decisions in life. I have learned that what you decide to day will affect your tomorrow. Some are difficult, some are easy. One decision can make you regret for your whole life or the other way around. Big as it is like settling down and have children or drinking a bottle of soda every meal but you might think is just a small thing but it could worth you life later on as a result.

So decide on what’s important. Ask for guidance from mature people and who are righteous. Think on what is good and pleasing not just to others but also to your Creator. I assure you before you know it you won’t be disappointed that you made the right decision.
